A common standing of intellectuals and civic activists calling the public attention to the dangers on the life of the populations in Eastern Europe of the ABM system wanted by the NATO in Poland, Czekia and Hungary has been published in Hungary on Sunday, 29 April 2007.
At the opinion of the subscribers, among them philosopher Tamas Gaspar Miklos (TGM) the planned building up of the radar station in Tubes (Southern Hungary) is part of the ABM system sollicitated by the US for its own defense, transforming in military targets the local population. The communique takes position in favour of the prevention of the conflicts, peaceful solutions, and the humanisation of the international relations.
